Dreams can come true. I’m thrilled to announce that Cemetery Dance Magazine will be publishing my story “The Inconsolable” in a future issue.
Every author has a Holy Grail, and for me CD was an easy one to set my hopes on–this publication has been around for over 20 years and has earned its elite status and tenure by featuring some of the biggest names in the business. Stephen King, Clive Barker, Peter Straub, a bajillion others. They also pride themselves on publishing new voices. Hopefully mine will do them proud.
Soon I’ll know which issue will feature my story. Meanwhile I’ll be over here, beaming.

“The Inconsolable” was published in the first issue of CD I read…I was trying to figure out which issue it was when Google sent me here. Guess I’ll have to dig it out of one of the drawers in my office
Yep. Issue #73. I slightly prefer the version of “The Inconsolable” in Greener Pastures, but the tweaks were very minor.
I found it! And I didn’t notice the changes, but that’s because it was a long time between reading in Cemetery Dance and then reading it in Greener Pastures
