Just a couple of weeks after winning a Bram Stoker Award, my debut novel The October Film Haunt has been honored again! The Georgia Author of the Year Awards were just announced, and my book took home the prize in the Horror category. Thank you to the judges and to the red Georgia clay in my blood. I’ve lived my whole life in this state, and it’ll be a little while before I fully absorb what this means to me.
